This program serves an essential role in ensuring reasonable accommodations for adults who provide documentation of their disability Students served may include: students with physical disabilities; visual or hearing impairments; learning, emotional disability or history of substance abuse A Resource Room is available for students who are blind or have visual impairment I. SERVICES AVAILABLE MAY INCLUDE: Elevator usage Agency referrals Job placement assistance Notetaking paper Orthopedically supportive chairs Registration, guidance and testing Specialized adaptive equipment TDD access Resource Room for the Visually Impaired II. QUALIFYING FOR THE PROGRAM: To qualify for the program, students must provide verification of the disability. Disabilities may include but are not limited to, physical disabilities, hearing impairments and vision loss. Also served are students with learning and emotional disabilities, a history of substance abuse and other disabling health conditions.

  • Students who attended high school special education classes.

  • Persons receiving state, county or social security income base on disability.

  • Persons who have job related injuries and receive worker's compensation.

  • Disabled veterans. Clients of Vocational Rehabilitation
